Important Notice
Moving to Work (MTW) Cohort #4 Application

This notification represents Spartanburg Housing's intent to participate in the United States Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) cohort #4 of the Moving to Work expansion.
Participation in the fourth cohort of the MTW Expansion will evaluate landlord incentives and their effect on landlord participation in the HCV program.


Spartanburg Housing will conduct resident/participant information and input meetings to be held by zoom in the month of June and July and will be open to all public housing residents, HCV participants, landlords and the general public. Our desire is receiving public input on the plan development.


A public comment meeting on the DRAFT PLAN (CLICK HERE) will also be scheduled Thursday, September 9, 2021. We will post publicly as additional opportunities become available. We will also be connecting with our community partners as plans develop.

SHA Moving to Work (MTW) Cohort #2 Application

 

Spartanburg Housing (SH) has been selected to participate in the United States Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) cohort #2 of the Moving to Work expansion. This notification represents our intent to participate in the MTW demonstration and of our desire to receive public input on the plan development. Participation in the second cohort of the MTW Expansion will evaluate alternative rent policies designed to increase resident self-sufficiency and reduce PHA administrative burdens. The alternative rent policies will be limited to non-elderly, non-disabled households. We are excited for this opportunity.

 

SH has scheduled two resident/participant information and input meetings to be held by zoom. Open to all public housing residents and HCV participants.
